Turkish swimmer Ahmet Mete Boylu captured the gold medal in the 200m freestyle at the sixth edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games, setting a new Games record with a time of 1:48.65. He also claimed the bronze medal in the men's 400m freestyle at the same competition.
