Turkish swimmer Defne Tanığ won the gold medal in the 200m butterfly at the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh 2025, finishing the race with a time of 2:15.21. After winning the gold medal in the 200m butterfly event, Tanığ also claimed the silver medal in the 100m butterfly and the 200m Freestyle.
