Turkish swimmer Ecem Dönmez Öğretir claimed a double gold at the sixth Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh 2025, winning the women's 200m freestyle in 2:03.89 and the women's 400m individual medley in 4:53.63 to establish herself as one of Turkey's standout performers at the Games. After winning two gold medals in the 200m freestyle and 400m individual medley events, Ecem Dönmez Öğretir returned to claim the silver medal in the 400m freestyle at the 6th edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games (Riyadh 2025).
