Uzbek swimmer Ilya Sibirtsev won the gold medal in the 400m freestyle at the sixth edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games, setting a new Games record with a time of 3:50.01. He also won two silver medals in the 200 m freestyle and 1500 m freestyle events.
