After sweeping three gold medals at the 2021 Konya edition, the Uzbek weightlifter Sarvarbek Zafarjonov returned to claim two medals at the Sixth Islamic Solidarity Games – Riyadh 2025. Zafarjonov also won the silver medal in the Snatch event in the -88 kg category at the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games (Riyadh 2025), after successfully lifting 161 kg.
