What is 3x3 Basketball?
Originating from street basketball in the 1980s, 3×3 basketball is a game of speed and strategy played between two teams of three and a substitute on a half court with one basket. The game is played on half a court with one basket and lasts 10 minutes or until one team reaches 21 points and features a 12-second shot-clock. Baskets from inside the shooting circle are worth 1 point and outside worth 2 points. It was officially recognized by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) in 2007 and made its Olympic debut at the Tokyo 2020 Games, reflecting its rapid global growth.3x3 Basketball and the ISSA
