ISSA Receives an Official Certificate from the International Fair Play Committee during Riyadh 2025

The Islamic Solidarity Sports Association (ISSA) has received an official certificate from the International Fair Play Committee (CIFP) - an organization recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the United Nations - in recognition of the 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh being held in the true spirit of Fair Play, and in full alignment with the highest standards of integrity and sportsmanship.

The certificate was accompanied by an official letter from CIFP President Sunil Sabharwal, who praised the exceptional organization of this year’s Games, which coincide with the 20th anniversary of the event. He emphasized that Riyadh 2025 represents “a significant achievement and a powerful affirmation of dignity, cultural exchange, and international unity through sport.”

"This official recognition from the International Fair Play Committee is a source of immense pride for the Islamic Solidarity Sports Association,” said ISSA Secretary General Nasser Majali. "We look forward to continuing our partnership with the CIFP and collaborating closely on future initiatives to further promote the values of fair play within our 57 member countries.”

The International Fair Play Committee also commended the joint efforts of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the Islamic Solidarity Sports Association (ISSA), and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in promoting the values of fair play, fostering ethical conduct, and ensuring a sporting environment defined by respect, integrity, and fair competition.

In its closing remarks, CIFP expressed its appreciation for the partnership with ISSA and its interest in continuing collaborative initiatives aimed at strengthening the culture of fair play in future editions of the Games.
