Benin's Collaboration With ISSA
The National Olympic and Sports Committee of Benin was established in 1962 and recognized by the International Olympic Committee in the same year.
Benin began its participation in the Islamic Solidarity Games from the inaugural edition in 2005 and also took part in the Baku 2017 and Konya 2021 editions.

Odile Ahouanwanou
Benin’s athlete Odile Ahouanwanou shone in the fourth edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games – Baku 2017, delivering her country’s first-ever gold medal in the Games by winning first place in the 100m hurdles with a time of 13.55 seconds.
