The Ugandan runner won the silver medal in the 10,000 metres race at the 6th edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games (Riyadh 2025), after completing the race in a time of 29:06.58 minutes. Simba Cherop also won the bronze medal in the men's 5000m at the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games (Riyadh 2025).
