Comoros' Collaboration With ISSA
The Comoros Olympic and Sports Committee was established in 1979 and was recognized by the International Olympic Committee in 1993.
Comoros began participating in the Islamic Solidarity Games from the very first edition in 2005 and has not missed any edition since.

Comoros National Football Team
The Comoros national football team qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations for the first time in its history in the Cameroon 2021 edition. The team advanced past the group stage in its debut appearance by finishing third in its group, before narrowly exiting the tournament in the Round of 16 with a 2-1 loss to Cameroon.
