Bahraini runner Birhanu Balew won the gold medal in the 10,000-meter race at the Islamic Solidarity Games – Riyadh 2025, completing the distance in a time of 29:06.58. This marked his second gold medal in the history of the Games, after winning the 5,000-meter race in Konya 2021. After winning gold in the 10,000 metres, Balew also claimed the silver medal in the 5,000 metres at the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games (Riyadh 2025).
