Bahrain's Collaboration With ISSA
The Bahrain Olympic Committee was established in 1978 and recognized by the International Olympic Committee in 1979.
Bahrain began its participation in the Islamic Solidarity Games from the first edition in 2005 and has not missed any edition since.

Ahead of the Riyadh 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games, Bahrain holds a total of 51 medals, including 23 gold, 13 silver, and 15 bronze medals.

Bahraini runner Winfred Yavi shined in the 5th edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games – Konya 2021, securing two gold medals in the 1500m and 3000m steeplechase events. She was the only athlete to win two gold medals in athletics at that edition.
