United Arab Emirates' Collaboration With ISSA
The UAE National Olympic Committee was established in 1979 and officially recognized by the International Olympic Committee in 1980.
The UAE began participating in the Islamic Solidarity Games from the very first edition in 2005 and has not missed a single edition since.
Participation In Islamic Solidarity Games
To date (excluding the ongoing Riyadh 2025 edition), the UAE has won a total of 23 medals in the Islamic Solidarity Games — 3 gold, 6 silver and 14 bronze.

Emirati cyclist Ahmed Al Mansoori shined at the 5th edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games – Konya 2021, where he won two medals: a historic gold, the UAE’s first ever at the Games, and a silver in the same edition.
