Kazakhstan's Collaboration With ISSA
The National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan was established in 1990 and recognized by the International Olympic Committee in 1993.
Kazakhstan began participating in the Islamic Solidarity Games from the very first edition in 2005 and also took part in the Baku 2017 and Konya 2021 editions.

To date, Kazakhstan has accumulated 135 medals in the history of the Islamic Solidarity Games — 42 gold, 36 silver and 57 bronze — not including the current edition.

Kirill Gerassimenko
Kazakh player Kirill Gerassimenko (world No. 91) surprised everyone by defeating Egypt’s Omar Assar (world No. 32) with a 4-1 victory to claim the men’s singles gold medal in table tennis.
Gerassimenko completed a double triumph, having also won the team gold.

Kazakh cyclist Rinata Sultanova shone at the fifth edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games – Konya 2021, winning 3 gold medals in the scratch, individual pursuit, and omnium events.
