Tunisia's Collaboration With ISSA
The Tunisian Olympic Committee was established in 1957 and was recognized by the International Olympic Committee in the same year.
Tunisia began its participation in the Islamic Solidarity Games from the very first edition in 2005 and has not missed any edition since.

In past editions of the Islamic Solidarity Games, excluding Riyadh 2025, Tunisia accumulated 37 medals in total: 4 gold, 4 silver and 29 bronze.

Ghada Hassine
Tunisian weightlifter Ghada Hassine became the first Tunisian woman to win a gold medal at the Islamic Solidarity Games. She achieved this milestone by winning gold in the 69 kg weight category at the third edition of the Games – Palembang 2013.
