Kuwait's Collaboration With ISSA
The Kuwait Olympic Committee was established in 1957 and recognized by the International Olympic Committee in 1966.
Kuwait began participating in the Islamic Solidarity Games from the very first edition in 2005 and also took part in the Palembang 2013 and Konya 2021 editions.

Kuwait has won 34 medals in past editions of the Islamic Solidarity Games: 7 gold, 17 silver and 10 bronze.

Sarah Alwahla
Kuwaiti shooter Sarah Alwahla succeeded at the fifth edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games – Konya 2021 by becoming the first Kuwaiti woman to win a gold medal at the Islamic Solidarity Games, after clinching the gold in the trap shooting event.
