Libya's Collaboration With ISSA
The Libyan Olympic Committee was established in 1962 and recognized by the International Olympic Committee in 1963.
Libya began participating in the Islamic Solidarity Games from the very first edition in 2005 and also took part in the Palembang 2013 and Konya 2021 editions.

Libya has won 7 medals in past editions of the Islamic Solidarity Games: 1 gold, 1 silver and 5 bronze - not including Riyadh 2025.

Rashed Al-Swesi
Rashed Al-Swesi gifted Libya its first-ever gold medal in the history of the Islamic Solidarity Games by winning the gold in the individual Raffa category in bocce at the fifth edition (Konya 2021).
